I have the same problem but i'm not a PS+ member and never have been, so that can't be causing it. At least I have MGS HD collection to pass the time until it's fixed.

Just a quick Q.

As this error is mainly disrupting PS+ subscribers, which is a paid for service, will we be compensated in any way?

As someone commented before, this isnt going to be fixed until monday, they say theyre working on it but the evidence says otherwise, engineers work weekends but cost more money, its not the end of the world to not have my downloads but my trust in sony has pretty much disappeared. Cant help thinking the move from PSN to PEN is setting us up for a subscription online service!

The same thing is happening to me but Sony PSN was good enough to take my money but failed to deliver the add on i was trying to buy (Car pack 3 GT5). I'm currently looking at the trading standards website and i'm going to give Sony until Wednesday (8/2) then i will seek legal advise. No one takes my money for nothing!!

If you sign into your Sony Entertainment account you will see all your downloads are still there. Like others are saying, its just unfortunate that it happened over the weekend. Im sure it will be sorted by the beginning of the week.

I hate to be the pessimist, but I can't see it myself. More than happy to be proved wrong though !

You never know! Just got to think positive. Don't think people would be so mad if it wasn't for the bad times last year? Sony lost a lot of faith through that.

I absolutely agree - if there is a problem, why can't they flash a post up on the PSN store to inform their loyal users of the situation - we shouldn't have to be doing the leg work to investigate the problems ourselves.

I'm being told that the cause of the problem has been identified, but a resolution has yet to become available. I'll continue to push for updates and myself or one of the other moderators will keep you updated when something comes in.
