gt5 in 3d mode

Hai,

Pls help me out to play gt5(3d) disc in ps3 (3d,160gb) in sony 40"3dtv,I can play 3d movies thru ps3 its working but game not working in 3d, no option is showing in game display to start in 3d or 2d its directly playing in 2d only pls sugest, ps3 software updated to 4.1 version. regds

There should be either a prompt on starting like you'd normally see, otherwise an option in the settings/options menu. Other than that, it seems you need a HDMI 1.4 cable or newer to play it.

I don't have 3D so it's not really my area of knowledge.

Did you get sorted? I have the same issue. Play station store downloads work in 3d for me but not discs?
