Hi

about a week or so ago iplayer stopped owrking on my PS3. I click on the iplaer logo off the XMB and it starts, but just stays at the loading screen. I've tried deleting and reinstalling, resetting my router, re configuring my wi-fi, and I've got nothing.

I don't think it's actually loading, at the screen is frozen at the loading screen. No idea what's going on, but all the other services all seem to be working fine.

Thinking about it though, it stopped working around the time the PSN was down for maintanance the other week. I don't know if that would have anything to do with it?

Try doing a "Restore file system" in ps3 safe mode.

Primesteve I'm having the same issue as you, and it started happening around the same time as you, its bugging the hell out of me.

Who is your internet provider? 

Have you fixed it yet?

Try using a wired connection or invest in a set of homeplugs strongly recommended for internet streaming.

Same problem here, since about a week ago. Tried everything and eventually figured it out... Just sign in to the Playstation Network and accept the new EULA agreement. iPlayer should be working after that.

thanks but my wireless is fine, netflix streams in hd no problem, lovefilm streams fine, iplayer was flawless until last week

however......

I just managed to get iplayer working again by clearing cache etc in browser, delete iplayer app, turn ps3 off then unplug at the mains for a couple of mins, plugged back in, booted up, installed iplayer and f*ck me its working for the first time in a week

I took this method from another post in this forum so my thanks to them

Nothing to do with accepting agreement as im pretty sure i done that and iplayer still wasnt working, thanks anyway

I had the same problem, but realised I had disabled Javascript on the Browser so I wouldnt get pop up browser windows when browsing.

re-enabling Javascript did the trick.

I fixed this by authorising my Playstation to play video content under my psn account.
