it lags on my new tv

i have recently bought a new tv and my playstation comtinually lags

 

i connect through a new 3d cable to HDM1 and i lags allot and when i just use the normal red white and black cords and put it in the AV slot  it doesnt detect anything?

 

Can anyone help me with this?

Does the ps3 lag on other tv's with the same cabling?

i have never tried the cable with other tvs but it is a high speed cable.

Hi Callum,

 

Check that any additional image processing from the TV is turned off in the TV menu. Sometimes this can cause input lag between the controller and whats happening on screen.
