ive downloaded it and tried signin up but my ps3 password dnt get accepted. ive jus recently signed up 4 racenet and had to change my password 4 that. if i change it i aint going to b able to use racenet  then. it does my head in.why cant they jus accept ur password & that and dnt expect you 2 keep changing ur details all the time.

If so you don't use your PSN password to sign-in, you have to create a new Elite account then link it to your PSN account.

does the same apply if it was the elite app in the game i downloaded..

Forget about the Elite app for now.

Create an account on the Elite website & link your PSN account to it first.

already signed up & now it wont let me back into it as they say they sent me an email and i haven't verified my account. is there a place on my ps3 i can verify my email address as i can't find it.

Sure you used the correct email address? The email they sent should be in your inbox!

it was the correct email address. have it written down. i tried hotmail to check my emails and they say ' no documents found'' which i can't understand as i used them 2 set me up with an email address so i could get on psn... my email address wasn't done through my ps3 but on my mates laptop..

doubled checked my email address on elite and its the correct address but used a lower case letter at the start of my name instead of a capital letter..

So you're using the PS3 browser? Best to go back to your mates laptop, the PS3 browser isn't very good & i'm guessing thats why the email isn't coming through.

As moriarty says, the PS3 browser is really an In case of catastrophic failure of all PC's and iDevices in the universe sort of browser.

Try using a browser like Internet Explorer 9, Firefox 23,695 or whichever version is currently available, or version 18 or 19 of Google Chrome on a PC/laptop
