hi all

11 month old ps3 slim 160gb keeps freezing on me complety but also can just be on the xmb & it will crash or nearly crash where i press a button & nothing happens for about 5 seconds then it moves abit has a think & wont load the xmb properly like freinds list etc just gives me the little spinny loading things then will userlly crash

Try entering safe mode by doing the following, then try rebuilding your database:

Turn off PS3
Hold power right the way through until the machine switches off.
Then wait 5 seconds, and hold the power button until you hear a double beep. (BEEPBEEP, rather than BEEP)
