recently my ps3 60G lose power after just start several minutes and no red light at all, then  plunge in agine same happen lose power, I notice power indicator light is solid green before dead but HDD access and wlan access light went off before dead. also this happen six mouth ago (continues about one mouth than solve it self). ps3 is on well vent area. wish experts give help, thanks.

i have similar problem.

my ps3 is cech-3004b, did the same thing. It goes normally on first 2-3 hours. i shut it down normally.

then, in the evening, it just last 30 minutes before goes out. it doesn't show any lights on, no beeping sound, no nothing, as if it had been plugged out of power. the power cable is fine, tried other cables as well.

some say power supply problem. do anyone know how to proceed?

maybe your power lead is faulty or you havnt got it plugged in far enough into the ps3

When the console switches off can you turn it on again straight away or is there a delay?
