ps3 wont stay connected to internet

hi as it says my ps3 wont stay connected to my virgin media super hub for longer than an hour or so, my laptop has no problems stayin connected, just wondering if any1 knows why my ps3 wont? Thanks

I had a similar problem, except with a BT homehub 3, as well as crap speeds. I switched from a wireless connection to wired via homeplugs, now i have no connection dropouts.

What's the signal strength like on the router? I've heard the super hub isn't very PS3 friendly.

its ok ive sorted it now, just changed my superhub to modem mode and added my netgear wireless router and its runnin perfect now.

man utd forever!
