red dead redemption bundle from the psn

i recently purchased the red dead redemption bundle from the playstation store. it downloaded and installed fine, but after about a minute into the first mission the screen went black and it sent me to ps3 menu. i tried a second time and it just completely froze. thats when i got kinda freaked out due to the fact that i spent $40.00 on this bundle and i really hope that it is playable. so i did some research, i checked the latest update/firmware my ps3 was and it was 4.11. i also restored my ps3 prior to downloading the game. then just for fun i ran the game again, once again a black screen and i was sent to the ps3 menu. i have a 160GB ps3 as well which is fairly new. so any advice/help anyone could give me? a million thanks in advance!!!

Is the game running at the wrong resolution? Check what resolutions the TV is compatible with, and make sure the Display Settings reflect this.

Re: red dead redemption bundle from the USN

I too am having troubles and I'm not the only one according to all the searching on goggle iv done.. Iv had RDR for long time and it never use to crash or freeze like this before, I stopped playing for roughly 7 months just got back into it and Walla its freezing every 10 minutes or so. VERY annoying and its a good things no one can hear the amount of stress in the tone of my voice!!

So I go to downloaded undead and it become twice as worst so i think I wish to claim my money back considering its not playable!??
