in brief our main ps3 has a full hard disc, we have got a new 160gb machine but want to run both units i think that to transfer game saves and trophys both units have to have the same user accounts is this true?

can i just save them to a stick and transfer thrm over? and will both units be able to log in at the same time with different users so my son can kill me in battlefield3, lastly i think do i need 2 copies of battlefield3 or can i make a backup of the disc or save it to the hard disk? Partially, Some game saves need you to have the same username on the account your copying to so that they dont think you are sharing saves and refuse to work.

can i just save them to a stick and transfer thrm over? Yes, unless a save has got a lock on it (developer enabled to prevent copying). If one does have a lock and you wish to transfer it then you can either use the Playstation+ cloud storage to transfer or the data transfer utility
