Hi Guys,

I've googled this a bit but none of the problems sem to match what I am experiencing.

I was playing GT5 as per normal when it started to freeze up going through menu screens and loading, etc. I switched off the PS3 via the PS button and when the console powered off, it crashed (beeping 3 times quickly).

Next time I ran the game all of my cars were missing from my garage, except 25 favourites (around 350 cars missing). I called Sony support and they suggested backing up my save game, deleting GT5 from my system and reinstalling it, which I have done (and all the updates). Through toggling the ascending/descending options in the garage I was able to make some more cars appear, and had the game update the thumbnails for those cars and resaved the game. My game progress, credits and trophies all remain the same.

So now I have a glitchy garage that is missing about 150 cars still, and the game also tells me my items list is full (which it pretty much was before the crash) and to delete items before I can save more. When I go into items, it says I have no items so I can't delete any.

I'm really stumped what to do next, my game progress is about 94% and apart from these glitches it seems to run normally during gameplay. I don't know whether to start all over again or play my glitchy savegame until I hit 100%.

Any ideas would be appreciated, has anyone else had this problem?

I can't really say ive heard of this before but it sounds like the daved data is corrupted, the only thing i could suggest is to attempt to salvage the data from from the options menu, if i remember correctly you will need to scroll down to the bottom to the utility settings but there should be a data utility option that you can try.

You may also want to check the saved data utility icon in the xmb to check to see if the file is corrupted, if you do not have the option to delete the missing items

ive got same problem , but ive  not got 1 left all 1500 cars missing  ... help!

I ended up having to start all over again, my save game data was corrupted.
