How do i change my psn ID to a new email when the old was fake?

Hey PSN users:smileyhappy: I recently started playing PS3 again after a couple of months. I decided to play on one of my other accounts, so i hit the sign in and it said something like : Your password is invalid. You need to change your password.

So i pressed ''OK'' and it said :  An email will be sent to the following email adress: (email)@somthing.com

Then i look at the email and realize, Hey! that email doesnt even exist!

So. What do i do? I would change to another email, but thats the problem. You need to log in, in order to do that. Please reply!  -

Your own fault for using a fake email address. You should have known it would be used for security purposes.

Hey S74R4L1F3,

If you used a fake or dummy email address when signing up to the PSN you will not be able to request a password reset yourself, as you have found.

However if you can verify all the other information on your account, you may be able to request an email change and password reset via our suppot centre.

Please call us if you have this information.

Phone (Australia Support) : 1300 365 911

Phone (New Zealand Support) : 09 415 2447

If you are unable to verify information on this account, or other information has been entered in incorrectly we will not be able to assist you.

Please use plain text.
