G day fellow gamers,today I bought a $30 PSN card from ***** Smith Electronics,when I got home I read the instructions on how to activate it.However there is no 12 digit code on the till receipt.This is my first time transferring money to my PS,maybe I'm missing something? Please help

Hey mate,

there are general problems with the PSN right now... mad rush on MW2 i guess.

When you get on the Playstation Store (Top Right) the is a Redeem Code Button, click on it and input your 12 digit code.

Mods are saying "If Possible, make any transactions out of peak times"

Not to sure where the code is on there, it's a mix of numbers and letters....

If you have the PSN CARD

it should be on the back of that

You have to scratch the silver stuff off

Thanks, Yeah I heard there was some problems with the PSN because if the stimulus package..which is why I bought a the card in the first place but there is no 12 digit number on my receipt ,and whats this silver stuff your on about? My card has no silver on it whatsoever,maybe it's an older one?In the bottom left corner there is some fine print witch dates the card as 2009? Anyone else had problems buying PSN card from DSE? Thanks again!

I have used the PSN cards  and it has a silver thing u need to scratch off at the back to see the code

I have purchased one about 2 months ago...

You either have a newer version or a fake one by the sounds of it
