So today after an attempt to create a new profile on my ps3 slim, the entire system froze. I turned it off manually and turned it back on to see it had loaded up to the "wavy" screen but no more after that. I assumed it had corrupt the hard drive, so I enabled safe mode to try to fix it by choosing "Restore File System" yet it never got past the "Preparing... Please Wait" screen. This has happened twice and I've attempted to also "Restart System" yet it freezes in safe mode. I'd rather not lose any save data, so can anyone help me? I've made sure multiple times that cords and plugs are not the problem.
