As part of an insider reveal - with numerous technical details on the Xbox 720 and PS4 spotted - a developer has claimed that the Xbox Next will be considerably more powerful than the PS4.

My only concern is the lack of internal memory. The split in the PS3 hampered multi-format titles to such a large extent, whole sites were created just to play spot-the-difference.

Frankly sick of looking at install bars on the PS3, let's hope Sony get it right on the new console.

4gb of ram what the heck are they thinking???... only 1gb for the os and 3 for the games??.. it should have had 8gb. you can put as many teraflops you want in it, but this will be 'cant have xcross chat' thing all over again and sluggish os... 8gb is bare minimum today..

I think we have to be close to see a reveal of the next gen consoles, the rumour train is gathering speed every day.

I cant see Somy going only 4GB of RAM, surely they would not make that mistake again lol.

I've noticed a discrepancy in those stories. 1 says the xbox is a 356 bit system and the other says its a 384 bit system.

Not so much speculation now but fact, AMD are filing suit against ex employees after leaking information about the PS4 to Nvidia.

The fact that a Moderator has created this thread, says a lot. Sony are announcing something NEW in the summer according to various sources, IGN and BBC being 2 of them. Whether it's the next generation of PlayStation, I don't know. I would love it, if it would be backwards compatible and for Sony to invest more into timed exclusives for 3rd party games. 

However I'm not going to get all hyped up over this, not after the last Sony unveiling, where they talked so much about how the PS3 was going to have so much hardware built in, but when it came to releasing the product, it had far too much stuff taken out of it, that it just seemed like a PS2.5, so I hope this time around that the PS4 would have what Andrew House say's it has in his fourthcoming speech come release date.

would love to know if the next playstation console will be ditching the playstation plus and free online and going into something like the xbox has

hope they still alow pre owned games to be played as if not this could effect playstation in future and less people paying money on developers

would also love for sony to annouce first party games upon release like socom

sony needs to do a open racing platform like we see on the tdu2 game

would love sony / playstation to instroduce a casino type game were its moderated
