Best Art & Design

It's a long and bloody debate to look into, but there's no doubt that games and art go hand in hand. From concept artwork to boxart, even down to level design and menu layout - everything in a game requires presentation and that, without a doubt, requires some excellent art & design.

This award will go the the game which dropped your jaw. The winner of Best Art & Design will have been a game which was simple stunning, whether you look at it on the TV screen or as you hold the box in your hands.

Batman: Arkham Asylum.

May not win for overall best graphics but the feel of the game was perfect, from the eerie halls of the asylum to the dark expanse that was the grounds, it's atmosphere was one of pure brilliance.

Borderlands i thinks. The style of that game is immense.

now... Fallout 3 GotY edition would of got this for me, the landscapes are just awesome...

but what won it for me... was UC2 and Drakes hair... that.. is pure design skill
