I'm going to vote against Modern Warfare 2. It seems to work very well but its awful for people who haven't played a previous version of the game as its followers are so hard core. With a system where once you reach the max rank you start through again it means you cant be matched to people of your own ability and improve your skills. The people who are very good at it were already very good when the game came out and are preventing newcomers to the online game from getting into it. That said off line the special op's are a fun co-op distraction.

Despite it's problems, it has to be..

Modern Warfare 2

 

I think it's the best online game out there right now. It's essentially 'gaming crack'; it'll keep you coming back for more and more, as demonstrated by the amount of players online on a consistent basis.
