Re: Home How-To: The Camera!

Nice guide Moshii but the camera is flawed on a widescreen standard definition tv (as I have posted before - it resizes the picture when it is saved so it is nothing like the view the users sees).

I requested some acknowledgment that this was a known issue but it seems to have fallen on deaf ears.

Re: Home How-To: The Camera!

the camera could use some improvements, notably being able to switch between portrait and landscape, and should be independent of the avatar when in 3rd person view, there's nothing more annoying than taking a picture and trying to make sure your feet aren't cut off, or if you zoom in, you are not in the middle of the shot. it would be nice to be able to alter shutter speed and aperture settings too

a post capture editing feature where you can add effects would be a plus also

Re: Home How-To: The Camera!

Lol thanks for the replies guys.

I think it would be a simple fix all that happens is that if you use 16:9 display on a sdtv it squashes the image to a 4:3 size when it is saved.

Whether the Home team consider this to be a bug or not would be nice to know, they may not consider sdtv's worth worrying about.

Sorry getting off topic, so I will end the dodgy camera on sdtv in this thread !
