and with Malakay75 we make a nice round number of 20. as it is now just after 9pm we are no longer open to applicants. however, if you still want to play, and are not signed up, then pop your name down and we can put you on a reserve list if anyone drops out.
i'll post some more information in the coming minutes but just wanted to say the time for applying is now past. see you all on thursday!

right. firstly it's absolutely fantastic that we have gotten 20 players signed up here on the uk forum. i haven't checked for a few days how it is going on the other forums but we might be pushing 130 players in total. so as you can imagine there is a lot of "running" going on in the back ground (mainly via LordRoss, thanks man!). as we are 20 players here we have decided to have a knock out tournament. it will proceed as such:
we will play 4 tables with 5 players on each. tomorrow your names will go into a hat and be pulled out and you will be assigned a table in the clubhouse. when you play it will be the top 2 players from each table (8 players in total) that go through to the next round on the 19th april.
the 12 players that didn't make the 1st cut will meet up on the 12th. here we will play 2 tables of 6 players. again the top 2 from each table (4 players) will go through. these 4 players will join up with the 8 players from the 5th april
we now have 12 players. they will be divided into 2 tables of 6 players. the top 3 players from each table will go through to the uk forum final on the 26th.
the final! 6 players will meet up to decide who is the champion of the uk forum. one will be crowned champion but two will go on and represent us at the world championship semi-final on the 3rd of may.
there will be a total of 15 players here. 6 nations will provide 2 players each, with france providing 3 players. this is because they have provided the highest amount of players (38 - i've just checked). players will be divided into 3 tables of 5 players. the top 2 players from each table will go through to the final.
the grand final! from 130 players to 6. this is it. of course i hope that we'll have 2 players representing us here! if you've made it this far, and then win you'll be crowned the OPC/HOME poker champion.
RenegadeXtreme will be posting soon some pracitical home information so keep your eyes on this thread. i was on there tonight and had to down load a small patch which also forced me to redownload the home square. it took 5 minutes so come in time on thursday! if you have any questions please post them in the thread.
edit: forgot to mention that we'll start playing at 8pm. silly me!
