Hello lovely Home guys and girls.  I thought it be great if we could do something for this years Valentine's Day.   It would be nice if we could all spread the love rather than hate within PlayStation Home towards one another and Valentine's day makes the perfect excuse.

To help get that loving feeling, Codeglue will be giving a Valentine Cupid companion to the two beautiful Home users in a winning photograph together. 

Two loved up people or even two bestest of mates, come and get creative and take an original photo of yourselves and post it in this thread to be in for a chance of winning.

What you need to do:

Create one original image of the ideal PlayStation Home couple from a screenshot taken in PlayStation Home in a public or private space within a romantic atmosphere.

The Image must include two PlayStation Home avatars. Entrants must ensure the Image shows two, individual PlayStation Home users and their avatars and contains a sign which clearly displays both their PSN Online ID. They should create what they believe is the perfect PlayStation Home couple.

IMPORTANT: The Image must be submitted in jpeg format and at the size 684x384 px (only).

Closing Date: 19/02/2012 at 23:59 GMT

Prizes: The two users represented on the winning screenshot shall be rewarded a code for a Valentine Cupid companion courtesy from the lovely Codeglue.

Specific Rules for the competition “Valentine's Day Screenshot competition : Create the perfect Home couple”

1. This promotion is open to residents of Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Luxemburg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Greece, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and United Kingdom aged 16 years or over.

2. The opening date is 13/02/2012 at 10:00 GMT and the closing date is 19/02/2012 at 23:59 GMT

1. Entrants must create one original image of the ideal PlayStation Home couple (“Image”) from a screenshot taken in PlayStation Home in a public or private space within a romantic atmosphere. The Image must include two PlayStation Home avatars. Entrants must ensure the Image shows two, individual PlayStation Home users and their avatars and contains a sign which clearly displays both their PSN Online ID.

4. To enter this promotion, entrants must:

(i)            Go to the local language forum at http://community.eu.playstation.com/playstationeu (“the Forum”);

(ii)           Click on PlayStation Home boards;

(iii)          Click on the PlayStation Home Valentine’s Day competition thread;

(iv)         Sign into their PlayStation®Network (“PSN”) Account, or if they don’t already have one, create a PSN Account using their PlayStation®3 system or PlayStation®Portable, and then return to the Forum and sign into their PSN Account;

(v)          Upload their Image which must be in jpeg format and at the size 684x384 px. Entrants’ PSN Online IDs have to be clearly readable in the Image submitted.

5. Registration for a PSN Account is subject to acceptance of the PSN Terms of Service and User Agreement and PSN Privacy Policy.

6. All entries must be original and the entrant’s own work (please click on the General Rules for further details). Entrants may enter the promotion only once and will only be eligible to win one prize.

7. Images uploaded must conform to the PlayStation Community House Rules, must show the entrant’s Online ID and must not show anyone under the age of 16.

8. Entrants must adhere to the General Rules and in particular, to sections 7 and 8. In addition, entries must not contain any (i) pornography, nudity, or sexually explicit imagery, (ii) abusive, offensive or hateful imagery or language, (iii) harassing or defamatory content, (iv) content that compromises the privacy or safety of yourself or others, (v) content that demeans a particular gender, sexual orientation, disability, religion, ethnicity or nationality, (vi) violent or dangerous behaviour, and/or (vii) spam, advertising or other commercial activities.

9. Following the closing date, the judge(s) will select 1 winning screenshot which they consider to be the most creative and original image submitted. The decision of the judges is final.

1. Both users represented in the winning screenshot will receive as a prize a voucher code for a PlayStation Home Cupid companion from Codeglue. The approximate value of the prize is €1.99.

1. PSN voucher codes are subject to terms and conditions of use. Please click here for details. PSN voucher codes are not transferable and may not be re-sold. No cash alternatives will be offered. PSN voucher codes have an expiry date which will be communicated with the code.

1. The winners will be notified by private message on PlayStation Forum within 2 weeks of the closing date, and will be given 4 weeks from the date this notification is sent to claim their prize.

1. The Promoter will use reasonable endeavours to dispatch the prize within 30 days of receipt of the entrant’s claim but the Promoter does not accept any responsibility for prizes that are dispatched later than this period.

1. Prize shall be sent by private message on PlayStation Forum to the winner’s PSN Account. Instructions on how to redeem the PSN voucher code and the code’s expiry date will be included in the e-mail.

15.  If the prize is found to be defective or damaged on delivery, the Promoter must be notified in writing within 7 days of the delivery date, otherwise the prize will be deemed to be accepted as delivered. This does not affect your statutory rights (if any).  

16. The Promoter shall publish the winners’ PSN online ID and country of residence on the Website. Entries may remain on the competition thread within the Forum at the Promoter’s discretion.

Just a quick question. How do you want us to include the sign with our ID's in them? Coz using the camera in PlayStation Home doesn't display names.

Good question.

The answer is simples.

Just edit it on there.  That'll do nicely.

So Paint, Photoshop whatever you choose to put your PSN ID on the photo is fine by me.
