I know home been dyeing for ages and the effort that has been put into making it better should be praised but where is its life and it's conversations? Its needs a meeting point and I not mean this in offensive way (because I love helping) but it needs it without all the silent newbie’s sucking the life out of it all in one place let them spread out more. Or give us the pier in EU a place with music and social interaction such has the wheel and maybe a boat ride with your friends of course, but not with games to take us yet further away from our friends. Making your way in the Home today takes everything you've got. Taking a break from all your worries sure would help a lot. Wouldn't you like to get away? Sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name, and they're always glad you came. Is that where there hearts gone, or would that idea even fix it?

Hgwells: As they say in panto - OOOOH no there isn't!

I agree with Oreba, but for me the issue is that there was no proximity voice chat. There are barriers to meeting people in Home. It's hard enough to go up to complete strangers and start talking as it is without the cumbersome text chat. It badly needs a nice easy way to voice talk or being in a group.

It does have that, it's fairly simple to set up a closed group, and you can use both voice and text chat when you're in one. And it's not limited to close proximity.

Personally I'm not a fan of open voice communication in Home, if it's just based on proximity. It is sadly an "open" invitation to grief.

Can't help but instantly think about the fat guy in Surrogates the movie when people talk about PS Home.

It needs proximity chat because I cant be bothered to spend an hour typing a message only for them to spend another hour to type their message back. There should be different voice channels like what is in DC Universe. Channel for proximity, group and friend calls.

Get a PC usb keyboard so much quicker and I can use Google translate to speak to the millions of none English speakers.
