With a brand new clubhouse still waiting to arrive within PlayStation Home, still not one has been released since the clubhouse started back when Home opened its doors in 2008. I thought this would be a great opportunity to discuss your opinions on the matter, and also bring some ideas as to the table as to what you would like to see in a clubhouse.
With many fantastic apartments already being big enough to become a clubhouse such as nDreams Musicality apartment, and VeeMee's London pub. It really would be great to bring up some ideas of our own in which content you would love to see in a clubhouse.
It maybe the design of the clubhouse ie 2 floors, with a music & dance floor on the top floor etc. It may even be its location such as being in the future, or even in sunny location such as Italy, Spain etc. You may even want to add ideas for interactions in the clubhouse such as lighting or even possibly being able to create a game? Who knows, I would love to see a Night & day cycle integrated into a clubhouse!
Now with many still wondering if we will ever get a new clubhouse.. who knows. But if we keep this idea alive, and active with our ideas you never know who may be reading this thread
Guide: ( Here are a few tips for wants & needs in a clubhouse )
those are just some, but anything i've forgotten ( probably plenty ) just include them will be interesting what ideas you guys come up with ![]()

This is one of my biggest grapes. As you've pointed out spaces like London Pub and Musicality would of been best suited as a Clubhouse rather than a Personal Apartment. There's no point having these lovely spaces as Personal Spaces because within minutes you'll be hitting the limit ( 12 people limit in Personal Spaces).
I also agree with the points you've made. We need more enviroments to choose from aswell as interatcions as standard.
I also want that TV working ... the only time I can remember them switching it on is for Film QandA's. We should be able to put UGC in that TV.
Lighting is another. We should have like a dimmer switch so we can alter the mood and atmosphere. Chillax FM amongst other events would of benifited hugely from this.

TBH, I think they should introduce the recurring fee but also add a few other stuff to make people actually use their clubhouses. There seems to be a lot of clubhouses that were created but haven't been used. I remember joining a club and it being empty, I tried contacting the Club Leader and didn't get a response back. After that I left the clubhouse.
Why on EARTH would you encourage a recurring fee? No-one would pay for it then. Would you pay a recurring fee for a personal apartment? You wouldn't? Oh, ok.
I thought that was the case.

LMAO. A recurring fee? Why? For what reason? You don't give any example of why this shoudld be done. What are we to get for this recurring fee? This 'other stuff?' I got news for you, the current clubhouse without a recurring fee is next to useless. It's way too small and looks rubbish, and that's just for starters. That's why no-one really bothers with them. An option for a one-off fee to upgrade a personal space into a clubhouse with extended club privileges along the lines of what others have suggested is what's needed. That would just about justify the current fee, let alone a recurring one.
We've all been suggesting that personal spaces have an upgrade option for ages now. But is anyone actually listening?
Well ... are you?

Some really interesting points, and @GreatestACE I think that's a great idea, to be able to choose one of your apartments as a clubhouse. Thou I would like a Clubhouse that has a bit of everything, but very spacious but at the same time also have plenty of mini-games for club members to enjoy even if the clubhouse got updated every so often like Home Square with new Mini-games.
@Fritches - Lighting is really important, especially if you want to hold club night disco's etc ChillaxFM being a great example
( Oh, do I miss those days
)
Some really good ideas thou! I do remember somewhere when interviewing companies like nDreams, VeeMee & E-Hug Entertainment etc ( Can't remember which one ) But they we're if not all interested in creating clubhouses.

Clubhouses have only attracted 2 lots of crowd that surpass the 12 user limit from my experiences:
1) Quizzers.
2) Overflow parties.
This is because people have not managed to create larger focus groups for their interest and when they do there is nothing a club can offer them that a personal space does not. In fact it offers less now the screens are no longer used.
In Beta we were under the impression newer clubhouses would be available, or new features would be added at the expense of a monthly fee. Feedback was given and they never introduced the fee, but they also never inroduced new features or clubs. We got what we paid for (some of us got our clubs for free, in fact a lot of us did).
But seeing as clubhouses took a back seat to personal spaces, I have to ask what are the differences between the two that stop 31+1 entering a personal space? Is it a memory limitation or just a cap introduced years ago by Sony as an incentive for populars to hit the club route and buy a club?
If all that seperate clubs now is the user limit why not allow us to pay extra via the PDA to turn a personal space into a club house? They'd make a lot of money doing this.
