No it wouldn't. I think we should wait till thursday. EU gamers are very good at that.

At least that is a major part of SCEEs marketing strategy :smileywink:

Yep I agree with that.

I'm very sorry everyone, but it looks like our email system has failed us.

Combine that with the SCEE annual company conference (which is where we've all been until now) and that means no invites today.

I've made a series of phone calls and I dont believe its something we can quickly fix so we'll need the email team together on Monday morning to tackle the problem.

If its any consolation its not a Home problem, its an email problem........... Actually, I fully understand its not any consolation.

I know you dont see this often but heres a PlayStation rep saying sorry. The Home team were very much looking forward to seeing how all the new testers reacted to our baby and now we also have to wait another few days.

However, the reality of it is that its a small but very irritating hiccup and we'll soon be back on track so please dont give up the hope, you'll all be Home within the coming weeks.

If I hear anything more I'll let you know immediately.

Ted

Well Ted, have you heard anything yet?

No. No he hasn't. Wait till thursday.

Re: Evening update - Email problem

Im not the only one who has noticed the un-randomness of these invites. On friday someone posted that their friend has just bought a PS3, was invited on the home beta and was so clueless about the PS3 that they had to install Home for them. Saturday, someone posted that their home invite had arrived at their e-mail inbox faster than their PSN welcome e-mail. Someone said thet they had bought their PS3 less than 4 weeks ago and they were invited too.

They are not the only cases, just the ones that stuck in my mind. Every Home beta has been the same, rewarding the new owners while ignoring day 1 buyers. If these invites were truely random, then after 4 or 5 (or possibly more) waves of invites going out, every 60gb owner would be in the beta, just out of probability. You cannot dodge every bullet.

Why? I am just wanting to know if the email problem was fixed and that all emails are out. You are not his spokesman.
