Thanks for posting this. I encountered exactly the same problem, and thought my 60GB PS3 was on its final legs... O_o
(un)luckly as others have experenced the same bug then we can isolate it to the Game Space.
I haven't been on Home for a while and having started it up again Game was the first space I went to, I played a bit of that Jumping Jack Flash-esque mini game but it froze on me, I had to press the on-off button for a few seconds to hard reset my PS3.
Since then I've been to other spaces, both quiet and busy, and not encounted the crash; therefore, I must agree with you that it seems to be localised, specifically, to the Game Space alone.
PS as far as I'm aware reseting the PS3 in Home doesn't cause any problems, at the time I was downloading 3 Spaces, in the background, when my PS3 froze in the Game Space. After reseting I relaunched Home and it seemed fine and when I went to re-download the other Spaces they started not from the begining but from where they were when the system crashed.
I just say this because you often get warnings in games not to reset the console while the hard-drive light or icon is flashing as this can damage your save file, I believe that's not the case in Home?
Thanks again for posting this thread, schadenfreude, maybe, but at least I know my old PS3 isn't going to die on me soon. (touch wood)

I doubt there is much we can do to fix this right now. I think it's just a case of this space currently being buggier than the entomology house at London Zoo. I'm sure a fix will be forthcoming - hopefully before too long

Maybe it would help if we said what type of ps3 we all have for the devs.

Mine is a 60 gig.

Does anyone have this problem on a slim?

well i log in PS home and go to the GAME Space and lo and behold it WORKS!!! I don't know what hapened but u should log in PS home and check it out!

Me too, im lucky to move without a crash.. Also I dont think all this restarting is doing my system favors cause I seem to be crashing alot more doing other things now and this has only been happening since the recent update on home..

Hello,

Just thought I'd give you all a friendly Heads Up if you've experienced problems with the GAME Moonbase.

The crashes were caused by the video files on the two screens which were unfortunatley too big for Home to stream in whilst running everything else. This is unfortunate but the situation has been rectified now. 

Apologies to all who encountered the problem.

It did it to me on Saturday, and I havent been back since. I will try and log in and get out of the uinstable space and will not return to it any time soon.
