Pretty famous Keynote speech from Phil Harrison demonstrating features in home that we never got.

makes me laugh the fact the Sony guy operating the Home avatar in the first vid calls another user a "ho" instead of saying "hi". Bit of an Omen for the future of home really.  The second vid demos a WORKING Bravia in the summer house and Harrison also talks about the cinema having the ability to stream paid for movies.

This demo is in stark contrast to Busers cheesy and somewhat sleazy presentation of home.

Yup, I wanted them things and thats what attracted me to Home. It's just a shame that they rather turn it into another gamer centric platform. 

That's the Home I'd rather see tbh, I say they should scrap it and start from scratch.

It might not be a bad idea Fritches. The place is in a mess, cencors going mad, constantly being dropped out, law restrictions due to conflicting countries, decline of direction in the community, focus on micro transactions rather than events (like Xi) etc etc

If they made a new Home to come with the next PS machine and learn from their mistakes, I'd happily migrate to it. As long as there was the ability to transfer all my stuff over, couldn't loose all those years worth of mini-game-playing and collecting for nothing!

Tell tell you the truth I enjoyed spending alot of time in Home the 1st 2 and a half years. Event's, a sense of community and lovely spaces to go to. And it used to be "There's No Place Like Home" in a good way ...

Don't get me wrong I love Home to bits but I wish it could return to the Home we fell in love with.

i know the hovercrafts were tested at one point but why they were never implemented is beyond me :/

As far as hovercrafts go, I dont really think we lost out there as it just looks like another boring companion and unless it was remote controlled by the user or something I dont see the point on putting it on home now as there are already way too many as it is. The sports space looks like a pre visualization of the EA sports/fight night spaces we got. Its just a pity EA pulled out of home.

I really like the look of the Harbour Studio. I wish it was actually like that, much better view than we have now. The bowling alley looks real good too.
