I'm still getting booted now and again , not as much as I was before . So maybe just me then ?
It’s not just you. Although not as frequent, I’ve seen a new error crop up in the past two days. An M16 error. Don’t think I’ve seen that one before, but it basically does the same thing as the other. Knocks you off home and forces you to reload everything.
MI6 sounds like a government intervention. Maybe James Bond is hacking Home
Seriously, that's a new one to me. I've had a C-16 I think. But not had any errors since the weekend. So happy days. Except the weather is no nice outside. Nobody is on Home. We need Home for PS Vita ![]()

In almost every other online game/network, they only shut the network down for 2-3 hours instead of 16 hours to update. My guess is that the difference between this and Sony's PSN is that they already make the update offline, and test it there, so the only time loss is of uploading the newest version instead of creating a new version which can take forever. Perhaps it's an idea to tell this to Sony's IT staff. This way both errors can be avoided (since the newest version is thoroughly tested offline) and the network itself isn't offline for so very long.
In fact, it wil result is more happy users (2-3 hours offline isn't as bad as 16 hours, and serious errors are prevented), and also more money for Sony in the end, because the users are still online and able to spend their money (and happy users also spend more money in general). It's a win-win situation for both.
This probably works better for PS Home instead of PSN, but heh, it's an idea. Sony's competitors all do it this way and it works well.

It's not just Home that's offline ...
When Home goes offline during PSN Maintenance it's usually because of account management,micro-transactions and secuirty implementation ( which can last for hours ).
While a weekly Home Maintenance is just to check and maintain the servers and to publish that weeks content ( which usually lasts 3-4 hours ).
