I've just stumbled across a website on the computer thats VERY similar to Home. Just a 3D chat based website (Not IMVU) and with membership for a certain price per month your avatar gets a monthly salary of so much to spend on items that are on sale.

Not actually played yet as its the worlds longest download and I doubt the graphics or community are anything near as good as PSHome which I why I can imagine I wont be using it TOO long. BUT...

This salary thing seems like a really good idea, it can be optional like it is on this other game but dependant on the price (this one is reasonable) I would pay it. I thought it sounded really good and I would love to see it implemented into PSHome.

What you guys think?

They wouldn't make as much money with monthly salary amounts, compared to people just buying when and what they want.

Yeah but Elfen people are buying less as less things are coming out xD It was an idea. Optional as I stated. I'd sign up for like £10 a month and £20 shopping on Home only. Not game DLC

I like the idea. A weekly salary or something, but you have to log in every day to get it or something.  Even if only a small amount, I think it would encourage more spending on Home rather than discourage it.

People always say 'Yeah, but Sony won't make money.'  So.  This isn't a forum for how make Sony a profit, or dismiss peoples ideas as they're not financially beneficial for Sony.  I've seen lots of good ideas on here, some I'm sure would make money and others maybe not.  But still ideas.

I think we should encourage new ideas, rather than try to come up with an answer for why it's not going to happen.  That's Sony's job, not ours.
