I was very surprised to see yellow today. It seems the cycle is yellow-blue-green-purple, with no red. Unless the cycle is irregular, I'd say it's not possible to get the community reward.

I missed the day that the main eggs were blue myself, so I've been working to get that reward based on rare eggs only. I don't use the multiplier suit and I found that I managed to find blue egg no. 500 on an overall score of 20786. The number of red eggs will probably be the same... so 500 eggs in nearly 6 hours work. That's a depressing thought.

I can only presume they are making the community reward harder so it lasts until the rare egg becomes available. They really need to put more rewards in using the normal eggs. I've already got the currently available ones and the space has only been up for 3 days.

Well that's a bit of a problem then isn't it? So far, I've earned around 20,000 eggs and that's about as far as I plan to go. If everyone did the same then that would mean that there would have to be about 50 million people just to reach the daunting score of 999,999,999,999. However, this number is for total eggs and cannot even be closely compared with red egg total.

I noticed that on day 2 my community score was apparently 33million or thereabouts and yesterday it was up at about 55 million, so we must be doing something right. I think those orange eggs help towards it because there is no reward that i know of for collecting them, yet they are there.

I thought the community score increased with the collection of any coloured eggs, not just the red ones...

nah its just the red eggs that increase the number for the community score

Orange eggs? I haven't seen a single orange egg there. Would you mind making a picture of one?

And I know why the score increased so much yesterday, because yesterday there were purple eggs. And as you are well aware of, the reward for purple eggs requires no less than 10.000 eggs. And therefore, I presume people spend a lot more time collecting eggs in that space, far more than on the other days as the rewards for the other eggs require lower scores. I know I spend twice as much time there as on the other days. More time collecting eggs = more red eggs collected. The height of the number surprised me though, but it's still not nearly enough to reach the community reward this lifetime.

And I also noticed three times as many freezes yesterday, so I guess the space was too crowded during most of the day. My PS3 froze entirely 13 times, which is rather annoying since the 'pending' eggs aren't saved.

I'm seriously beggining to think i am colour blind lol because i have never saw a red egg in that space.. only orange

Your not going colourblind. The eggs are red but the space's lighting can make them look orange. I noticed the same thing with other eggs in certain parts of the showcase.

I haven't seen 1 red egg the whole time i've played that game and i have all available rewards. Only orange.
