I'm not calling anyone anything. I'm correcting the bloody spelling.

Thank you for correcting my spelling. I know it's bad but I don't blame anyone for it other than the educational system I was raised in. They were the ones that didn't recognise my slight dyslexia (quite proud of my spell checker in Firefox) and basicly said I'd amount to nothing in my life to my parents at a school review.

I laugh at that now as I am a fully qualified Project Architect with a good number of years experiance on my side and no English qualifications what so ever.  :smileyhappy:

My spelling always falls over on the most common words like Lose and Loose. We need no more discussion on my poor spelling so now that we have discussed that off topic subject can we get back to the original one?

Re: Loosing Interest in PS HOME

Regarding the Op, I have to disagre. I dont spend my entire week in Home I only spend roughly 2-3 hours a week chatting  / or playing some of the arcade games, bowling or Pool.  I also spend time in the US Home.  To be honest I am not dissapointed with Home I look forward to the regular updates and the extra items that are avaialble. Obviously people are not going to like the way Home is being run but at the end of the day Home is what you make it.

Cheers

Hentis.

Re: Loosing Interest in PS HOME

I like the concept and thought behind HOME.. but come on.. We hardly have any content within it..

We all know the if we create an account for Jap/US we can get new things on the EU home.
So its not even the fact that the EU servers dont have these items in the database because they clearly do..

Another thing.. I think the forum ruling where we carnt talk about the proccess of obtaining said items is a JOKE. (Thats another matter).

If we had the same content nobody would want to anyway!

Purely my thoughts but I think they are correct.

Re: Loosing Interest in PS HOME

Two good posts I've seen on the forums today: -

Why I Say Home is Not a Miserable Failure

I never really realised it until I read this but we are all dieing to be advertised to. Were begging for the spaces that the Japan and USA HOME have which are just big advertisements handing out free advertising products in the form of clothing or objects for your HOME and with all the money were also spending at the moment being quite frivolous as the PSN HOME will be reset after this BETA phase has finished I'm quite surprised I'm being offended by not having any of this content.

New Stuff Coming to home

If this post is true the things were so desperate for are not far away.

I'm begining to wonder wither I actually want all this in my face advertising at all?

Re: Loosing Interest in PS HOME

I used to be like that, i used to think HOME had great potential but as it is now it sucks..... it was only last week i was going on about it on the forums and i think i upset more than a couple of people on the forums.

I decided to take another look at HOME since i havnt properly been on it since about 3 or 4 weeks ago and i loved it! Sure the clothing range sucks, the furni sucks and my avatar needs a bigger snow globe to live in but theres tons of good things too.

If you compare HOME now to what it was when it first released in the clossed beta you will see the huge changes, there are the two new stores, the new game spaces, the red bull air race, the envents space, the summer house, the psp hunt not to mention most of the glitches have been removed aswell as faster loading.

So yeah sure HOME isnt perfect, its far from it but its already shown great improvements so far and it hasnt even been out that long to the public. Keep in mind this is only a beta. It was due to the high demand that SONY had to rush this out to the public as quick as they did which is why most of the glitches where there in the first place..... so if anything blame yourself for demanding it early in the first place. If you dont like HOME as it is right now do other things, play the games or watch movies, go out with friends and enjoy life. Come back to HOME when its improved to your likeing.

Re: Loosing Interest in PS HOME

Loosing intrest, i lost it a while ago when i go on i wonder around see what new and theres nothing great, the only game space is for farcry 2, a rubbish game if ever there was.

You cant get on the mini games like that trisphere, just a lot of walking around new spaces that dont have any thing new.
