just wondered if anyone knew anything about the section of the roof in the mall where the parasols are? will it possibly be a new area of the mall? if not would you like it to be? i'd like to see it incorperated into the shop underneath it some how

yeah i saw it a few min ago and thought the same thing but then i thought how long have they been their does anyone know that

I've been trying to get up there for ages. It looks like a 3rd story, and a beautiful one.

There are some neat touches you can view of the 3rd story which most people don't notice or appreciate - like the realistic flow of trees and plants, or the changing ambience of the sky on some occasions.

Was just wondering why would a roof have parasols if you can't actually see the roof? Maybe they'll add to the back stairs up to it. Makes sense for sony to make the mall as nice as poss as they want us to stay there and spend

I noticed this way back in the closeed beta days. I agree that HOME is very underappreciated, if you looks at the texture details within HOME they are amazing for a social networking service/application. I however dont think they are there for show.

If you look around HOME there are loads of places which can be expanded to allow extra content to fit in such as new stores in the mall, those clossed door could lead to anywhere SONY decides not to mention the places you dont actually walk to get to such as game spaces. I just think this area at the top is possibly another place to expand on. Chances are we could see it turn into another place to hang out in the not to distant future

yeah I noticed them a long time ago too. I would be neat if it was a new area one day. I know the Japan home has a little area in their home square that has little seats with parasols

I have never noticed this before until I saw this thread and checked it out today! I totally agree with berryliker its a place to be expanded upon! Those plants and parasols look too good to be just for show!
