Well its fair to say that this forum is sadly going downhill. I, among others have tried to save it but it seems scee have their priorities in different places. So like the thread title says here are my leaving comments/thoughts:

• Ted has not been fired (as of 2 weeks ago, according to reliable sources ). My belief is his role is now focused on helping with communication through the blog, and just generally improving home for the masses.
• The communication on the blog is good and reliable, sadly being a blog it is more about users reading the stated facts and not commenting in a discussion. From a business point of view this is probably better than the forum.
• Home is ever expanding, yet in my eyes it has lost some of its gloss. This may be down to the oodles of problems that scee seem to be having in recent weeks, or it may be down to the change in stance by Scee to listen to the masses. Has scee home lost its shine, is it becoming a generic copy of Scea home? Well this can only be answered within the coming months.
• Essex James, you get your own little bullet point so I hope your pleased . While your letter from the community has mobilised scee in many different ways it has also had a negative impact. Please only take this as constructive criticism but I believe it became a crusade to change everything in the end. Though this is not your fault, all of us had ideas for how scee should change and maybe we went too far.
• While the moderation team have come under fire for certain things I believe they are the right guys and girls for the job. They are very friendly and don't get annoyed unless you do something wrong, obviously! There are small problems with the overal moderation system but I guess nothing is perfect.
• To the community in general, Over the past year we have seen our ups and downs, trials and tribulations, but yet we were still a community, and a d amn (grr the filter) good one at that . I was sad to see this community break up for many different reasons and it is one of the main reasons for my departure. I have been banging on throughout my forum life how new things don't make home, the community makes home! I believe scee is beginning to realise this with more community based spaces and the forthcoming 1.3 client should be a great addition to the community. Shrinking potion FTW.
• Continuing on from the above point home needs a new XI, it was something that made you return to Home every day. Recently, for me at least this sadly hasn't been the case.
• Lastly, I will like to thank the community for many hours of fun and laughter, especially Cooltails, Loonytoon and Ads. This community still has many great members including the likes of Carla and Cam who seem to constantly reinvent the wheel and produce some awesome threads and events.

By no means does this thread mean I am leaving home, I will still be there making crappy jokes You never know I may even return here in a few months time to see how you guys are doing.

I have no idea who you are departed. I only started playing about two months ago and joined the forums two weeks ago. So I don't really understand any of the above. But hey... maybe see you in Home sometime!

Firstly LOL at the Rufus comment. Secondly, Heck the forums have moved on. I guess yesterdays news is todays fish and chip wrapper. Its probably best if you didn't understand all the above. Ignorance can be bliss!

Speak for youself, the forum is providing no end of entertainment these days, although probably for different reasons than you'd think. I think we had a meeting a few months back where anyone who posts a 'I'm leaving' thread was shown the door and locked out of the forum forever.

How about a lets remove Kudos from the Home forum instead, or maybe a nice cup of tea.
