Re: Re : Re: Betreff: News update - 26th Feb

The first thing I need to say in this thread is that anything that was communicated this long ago is almost certain to have been subsequently superceded by changes to schedules or because of other considerations.

Looking at Ted's list and your specific requests:

Warhawk - I've found out what happened to this space. The original team that developed this space no longer exists, and we were not provided with all of the assets required in order to localise the space. It was therefore decided to drop this space from the schedule and concentrate on future releases.

Sirens - It's on its way! Again, this was delayed due to issues beyond our team here, however those have now been cleared.

Music - Exceedingly complex issue. Several possible solutions have been under investigation, however the licensing issues that were mentioned originally have ultimately caused each option investigated so far to not be feasible.

Sodium - being discussed in one of the Sodium threads... However, we are pushing for the SCEA content absent from SCEE to be added.

Hi Dax,

Thanks for the update, its a shame about the Warhawk space.

I know you probably sick of this question been asked but;

Is their any news on the picture frames in the EU as both the US and JP have had them for a while. The last time we heard anything was legal were still dealing them but that was months ago.

That's debatable. I'd also like to thank Alex for giving us this information, so this is no slant against him. But there doesn't seem to be any reason as to why we couldn't have been told this sooner.

from bottom to top

Sodium

We already new this

music

We already knew this too minus the 'weve investigated several options' part

Sirens

I knew this so I presume you did too

warhawk

Is this what you mean about not being told sooner? I agree we could have been told this a long time ago. I still think its excellant feedback compared to what weve had the last few months. Its a bit late but  it lets us know whats happening.

Yes to Warhawk. The rest I just ignored really, since there's nothing definitive. It was more a criticism of how things keep getting repeatedly asked over a long period of time, but with no answers. I'm having a rant day :smileyhappy:

Re: Re : Re: Betreff: News update - 26th Feb

The thing that concerns me is if i hadn't continually resurected this thread when would we have been told about Warhawk space being scrapped (sound like we couldn't finish the jigsaw because someone lost some pieces down the back of the sofa) ,a case of leave it long enough and we will forget about it. On the matter of Music in Home ,if Home can run something as complex as the Salt Shooter game, surely it should be able to play music off of our HDD that only we can hear (like Warhawk, burnout,SSHD and Hustle Kings does) or is that not a priority and selling t-shirts and advertising is?

Re: Re : Re: Betreff: News update - 26th Feb

Ive given up on ranting Unyon, it doesnt get any of us anywhere, were just ignored. Weve tried many different ideas to get better communication from SCEE in the last year and for a time it was getting better. Now its back to the bad old days were we have to find out information for ourselves. Regarding warhawk. I think everybody pretty much knew we would never get it. Shameful really its took so long and like Black says, the continual bumping of this thread (wd Black) to get a definite answer to the question. The feedback regarding some of the issues on Home we recieve is absolutely dire. They say they listen but they never answer. Only answer when they want to with what they want to.

Posts like Alex should be frequent and clear. Otherwise all this forum will remain is a rumour mill and place to vent your SCEE anger.

I agree Gigglz and nearly fifteen thousand views of this thread stand testament to that
