i been searching a few sites and it's unconfirmed but possibly playstation network has been attacked by hackers dont know if it's true though,but whatever i just hope it's maintenance and sony fix this problem soon

I doubt its hackers. because SLIM ps3's are connecting normallyhere is sony's twitter about it

this is rubbish, if this maintenence it should not turn off everything on your ps3. its been off around 7 hours now.

hmmm interesting , sounds strange though only ps3 slim is working, i got an old ps3 and my clock is messed up says year 1999 on it.All i know is whether it's a fault of sony or hackers.I just hope they resolve the problem soon.

i just read on sony playstation consumer alerts sony are looking into possible thefts of peoples passwords and are working on it now
