As we approach E3 in the next few weeks, and its becoming increasingly apparent that Sony are to unveil a whole new era for the Playstation network in the form of the long touted Paid Subscription service, which will allow PSN users to experience premium content in the range of £50 or less a year, this made me think how they might utilize HOME in all of this, specifically in making this service even more enticing and robust to us Home users, infact I would call it a missed opportunity on Sony's part if Home doesn't feature in at least some form or another, which makes me think that it will.
Anyway, among other things we know that plans are afoot to offer 1 PSN game per month and a music streaming application not too dissimilar from Spotify which will apparently be usable during our gameplay, but what about Playstation Home? You would think something that features so heavily in Sony's plans for the future would be a primary way to entice Home users to this soon to be unveiled service, but the real question here is, what might Sony offer us if anything, in the way of Home incentives to get us to Subscribe to this service?........
Although I obviously have no idea for sure, I would like to state some of my hopes and wishes in relation to this here, and I hope as many people as possible will be happy to add their views to this thread on what Home related perks we might see when this premium service finally goes live.
1. With the recent rumour that Sony maybe integrating its multiple region servers for Home (everyone can go to any region in Home), that this at least becomes available under the subscription service if its not hopefully available to everyone free.
2. A Monthly section in the store on Home that contains extra free content for subscribers, like costumes, items, personal spaces and other Home related stuff.
3. A sub-section in every store that offers every purchasable item at a discounted price, say 10-20% or more off to all Premium PSN Subscribers.
4. Special VIP Home events only available to the paid subscription users.
5. Promotional items only available to those with Premium Subscriptions, this could include trailers, mini games that open up exclusive content in our PS3 games, early access to new spaces etc, etc.
That's it from me for now, and I know some of these suggestions and ideas might be unworkable or otherwise pretty rubbish, but im just trying to think of things Sony may offer us in the way of Home incentives, if of course Home features at all in their new subscription plans.
So what's everyone elses take on this.....

In an ideal World Yes, but if Sony are seing fit to segragate the free PSN service with this premium service (which will just offer extra to what we have now - online etc will still be free), then as Home comes under the overall PSN Network umbrella it would make perfect sense that it too would feature in at least some way or other when this subscription goes live.

Existing purchases from at least the EU and US versions of Home are covered by laws, acts, bills. So they cannot take that away from paying customers of Home, PSN Premium or no PSN Premium. That said, I think Home will act as an exception to any rules.
Who knows, maybe more benefits will be granted to premium users that have yet to be implemented, but one thing for sure is they won't be taking things away from Home users any time soon (except hacked things of course 
)

If they do have special events seperate for paid psn users.... I want all my money back that i have spent on home.. and i will be deleting it.
They get enough money from it as it is if they turn it into a bigger cash cow they can get F'd
I actually got a survey emailed to me recently had how do you feel about home prices i obviously said their expensive but it had something else called premium avatars...

Indeed m8 they will not take any of the items away, as you said they are protected, but the sevice is a "premuim" one, and as such we will optionally be abel to pay for this service in exchange for what will constitute luxury items, so nothing will change for those who choose not to subscribe, its just that those who do go for it will apparently have access to a whole range of special extra features and content, whatever they turn out to be.

It was only my idea about special events, and as you say its probably one that wont happen, but the reason ive started this thread is to just open up the subject to the Home community in general to see what people think, what if anything might be added in Home when this premium service starts.
