I am curious whether they are going to be able deploy a fix to this (if firmware) via the usual method, or if indeed it is even getting to that level of connectivity. In which case it may result in a manual download and fix.

The "Update Firmware via internet" is working perfectly fine, so any solutions will come via that option. However, any other web based service, minus the internet browser, isn't working.

Also note that games with trophies will work, but games which have an "installing trophies" screen won't. So Heavy Rain and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed are off limits for now.
