Here's what to expect after the maintenance is over.....

Wednesday 25th January Home Update

Reports of a mysterious cave opening up down by the water in the Winter Event space are rife this week, along with suspected sightings of what some have claimed to be an abominable snowman. Hunters and other enthusiasts are flocking to the area to see if they can catch a glimpse of the mythical yetis in the hopes of bringing back evidence of their existence. Extreme caution is advised to all those intrepid enough to go in search of the yetis and the government is advising that anyone attempting to face them takes all necessary precautions to ensure their safety.

Here’s an unsubstantiated picture sent in by a local hunter, allegedly in support of these wild claims.

Inside, away from the colder regions of Home, Cucumber aren’t just about eye-popping colours (although there are still some of those in their latest collection). They also have a strong desire to create useable sets that will help you set the scene in your apartment. With Dolly’s Diner, that scene was of a bustling 1950s diner. These latest bedroom ranges are more subtle, but they still allow the creation of a complete, unified look.

In the Threads store you can find a selection of new hairstyles to let your avatar stand out from the crowd, ranging from short and spiky to long and wavy styles, and plenty more in between. Alter Ego sees the arrival of some Japanese Kimonos from the Great Edo of Nippon, plus more Urban Camo costumes - check out these increasingly inventive disguises and sneak up on your friends undetected.

If you’re looking for a new companion then head to the Stuff store where you can find an adorable fainting goat, a white tiger cub, a miniature robot or a cute dragon who will loyally follow you anywhere you go.

Kloud ... are we getting the Winter Quests fixed or is this mini-game instead of the Quests?

Looks like an ok update. Few things tho

• Why add a game to a broken space, Can we please just have the rewards to quest 2 and 3 it has been well over a month now, EU is the only region that has missed out on them and its unfair on the users

• Looking at the little tiger companion it is the same (minus the hat) of the quest 2 or 3 reward, please don't tell me that we aren't getting the free one and have to buy it instead because that is really unfair on top of being the only region that has missed out on quest 2 and 3.

• Also is there any info at all about the new clubhouse I asked last week and waited for a reply but didn't receive one, any info is better than none at all

If you can't fix the space just give us the rewards via Home Sq. 

We don't want another mini-game we want the Winter Quests to work failing that just give us the rewards.

One more thing ... this Christmas give us Winter Wonderland back instead of the current broken space we have now.

Germany wont even get the yeti game, cause it clashes with the law to protect youngsters! No joke, and Bootleggers 29 got a "12 and above" label. Damn, I'm completely puzzled now!

Yeah... I won't be buying a bed until I can lay down on it. Also I just wanna say that I think each chair/sofa/stool/seat should give you a universal list of comfort poses your avi will do when sat on it. There's nothing irks me more than seeing my avi sit bolt-upright on a couch like he's waiting for a kick in the gonads.

Oh yeah, and beds being active items, that's a no-no for me too!

Another vote from me for a solution to the Winter quests. Either fix and enable the quests or give us the gifts in home square, that would be only fair for how long we've waited.

My suggestion for the next update should take place on home plaza. Image a huge bassin in the middle with some SCEE officials above it on chairs. Now the home members can throw water filled ballons on them trying to knock them off the chairs. Optional the bassin can be filled with piranhas, electric eels, or poisonous jellyfish (depends on what you pay at the counter). The event should be named "Winter Revenge". I bet all my stuff on Home that it would be the most successfull event Home has ever seen. The users would have fun and SCEE would earn money far beyond their dreams!!
