It's that time of the year again, folks. All the kiddies, students, bored parents are breaking up from usual routines of work and education and are going to rage with their hormones on our precious virtual world, Home. And you know what that means..........

The Heartbreak Hotel thread is here for you to share your stories about your heart being broken, or you breaking someone's heart on Home I thought I'd make this thread pre emptively! At the hotel before you check in, there are 2 rules!:

1) Keep it clean.

2) No calling people out!

So let me start you off:
Back in the days of what I call Betageddon (open beta's first few days)..I had a fair few chaps chat up what was my at the time female character whichlooked like a football wag. I heard it all, that they were millionaires, footballers, "performers" etc...but one guy said he had a yacht, so I asked him where he bought it and he said he didn't know. Smoooth.

Anyways I kept him on the friend list for a couple of days and he was very clingy despite me not being girly or even being nice to him. One day I thought I'd invite him over to my Studio. I proceded to change into a guy and asked him what team he supports. He then told me he doesn't bat for the other team and broke down and was swearing a lot. He also said "I *bleepword* loved you !!!! *bleepword bleepword*" and off he went.

There were much funnier incidents than this one where people take what they see at face value and enforce expectations onto users for no good reason, but those are for another day! Consequently it all got a bit too much and I went back to using a guy character.

I usually get out that anime bikini, strike a "lean over" pose, get the ice lolly out, and stand by the fake females, stealing all their attention.

Works every time, while the fake female is filling the chat box with asterisks.

Urgh why did darksiders 2 have to be postponed till mid August, id much rather be playing that than watch "days of our lives" the home edition. I might even get lollipop chainsaw to tide me over, Ive already seen it for 20 quid brand new. Chances are it will be a tenner come September though. Arghhhhhh

nah not really, it's actually quite sad and desperate and I enjoy every minute of it getting bombarded with friend requests

but still, I AM stuck in the house on a friday night using a female avatar on home just to occupy myself, so I'm not sure who's more pathetic

I'd post an appropriate reaction race...but most of mine are FAR too X-rated to bring onto this forum and corrupt the children
