Also I haven't been there yet but from the picture there's a logo carved into the grass. What's that for?
It's the symbol for the new product that Lynx is pushing. The whole of Home Sq is the way it is as part of their advertising campaign.
They're getting adventurous with their advertising aint they. Last time it wasa mini-game with angels dropping down ( crashlanding if you ask me they can't land safely ) this time they've tipped most stuff over and carved the logo into the grass.
They're trying as hard as possible to be portrayed as something pretty epic.
Unfortunately for them I will forever associate their product with a particular kind of boy from my schooldays, who would spray on too much and then try too hard with the girls. It's made Lynx a bit of a running joke all these years amongst people I know.
