Re: ProjectVRD's little female experiment - conclusion

@Jester >.> @Rachel, this is definately the best course of action for any RA, be you male or female. Ignoring them, they tend to get bored and leave. (if not, game launch spam sends them packing) I spend a lot of time as both male and female avatars. It's not to fool anyone, I just think my avatars look cool. And to be honest, I get more people being nice to me whilst female than I do male. Dunno if they wanna hook up or what, but I let them know I'm a guy. Some instantly transform and say lude things, others don't care either way.

Betreff: Re: ProjectVRD's little female experiment - conclusion

so, males making experiments ....

if u make a experiment, u have to consider some (important) requirements/boundary conditions:

  • first: dont use a male-name (neither a neuter one) if your avatar is a female! The results arent convincing cause everybody knows that u are not a woman!
  • second: use a "normal" female avatar -name (not xXsuperhotsexychickXx or so); would be the same like prior...
  • third: dress like a "normal" female (not the way u wish to see a female here in Home or in yout Memories..)
  • forth: do not apply make-up too much; if someone could see ure cherry cheeks all over the home-place it is too late and u shouldnt wonder then if they look at u as if you were an endangered species....

I know, there are still problems with some folks in Home; but i dont care about it anymore and if i consider some "codes of practice" i normally havent any problems a week long...

As u can see she is not sexed up or anything granted i may wear shorts but it is normaly this top or a t shirt with these jeans. and i normaly just ignore them but if they keep it up i ask them nicely to leave and then give them a warning then report as a very last resort.

Couldn't you have just read the complaints from females in these forums?

Sure i could, but I had to see what happens on PSN for myself... if I was female I would have reported some of them but as I was in disguise sort of, I don't really have a case to stand for as that would be entrapment.

But the ladies here get it pretty bad from what I experienced. I feel for them, but after so long dealing with it they seem to have found the perfect way to deal with it.

EDIT: Oh and Jester, my avi is hotter than yours man! :smileywink:

To be honest, I'm getting quite numb to the RA's now.

If I start talking to someone and they say the wrong thing, I'm just like "yeah, see ya.." and walk away. I used to retaliate with a devastating quip, but not so much any more.

I gave your outfit a whirl on my paler skinned and freckly avatar, but customised it with Chun Li Boots my usual punch em up studded bloves and what I like to call the 'Singstar Sunnies'.

The amount of attention was depressing..... so no wonder you became numb to the RA's xD

Groove Armada Presentation Podium space is currently the worst for RA's.

Not so much on the Stage, but around the other side with the sofas and such, REALLY bad!

Also as a sidenote, the paler your character the worse the RA's seem to be, not sure why...

Your request is being processed...
