I wouldn't want someone offering me at the till "would you like to buy a virtual item?" they bombard you with enough questions at checkouts these days.

The PS3 browser just isn't secure enough to go and purchase something along, nor is it up to date enough.

Nice idea Ed. I doubt i'd pay for an item of real clothing via home though. I'm a bit old fashioned there and like to try most clothes on before I buy them, Especially if I was paying 200+ for a jacket, and home just doesnt cut the mustard there. Redeem codes on REAL LIFE purchases of branded clothing I like the sound of though especially if it gets home out there in real world shops raising awareness of people who wouldnt know what playstation home is. We've all got some.......friends that are non gamers. Next time you are down the pub with them or w/e just say two words to them; Playstation Home. Chances are you'll get a blank face back (having said that even some of my real life INTO GAMING friends dont know what home is). If the home logo started popping up in high street stores like Next, H&M etc people might be a bit more aware of it and inclined to seek it out.

H&M is a more accessible market. Competitive prices and popular fashions. And yes I never mention Home to my RL friends unless it is to do with griefing or the trainee ladyboys. Something that they will at least find amusing about it.

Great idea and i like the concept behind it. Although i wonder how long it would take before we saw screens going up in every space with max Factor adverts everywhere. Didn't take Youtube long :/

Superb idea Ed and one I will most certainly pass on and with fingers crossed it gets implemented, however as usual there will most likely be some big hurdle to jump over to get something like this into reality, most probably legal issues.

We can live and hope though, and if ya don't ask ya don't get etc.  Definetly worth a pop anyway.
