Everyone is continually going on about how Home is a huge disappointment and how it has failed due to the connection issues. However, what people fail to appreciate is that Home is not yet fully open as to speak. Instead it is an ongoing project, to which people have been invited to contribute to. I think that people have expected too much of an unfinished project.
I am not saying that there are no issues with Home. Just that continual negative feedback on one or two issues will not help to resolve the problems any quicker. Instead we should appreciate that Home isn’t finished, and thus wont be perfect from the very start.

Apologies for the minor rant, but if people do not realise the "Home Open Beta" is in fact.... "Open Beta", then they're a bit "low wattage" or put simply, not very bright. ![]()
People seem to be worrying what other people are think of Home..... *** what they think! For those of you who are enjoying Home, concentrate your efforts on offering constructive feedback for the development team (which they WILL read). Theres far too much fighting in the Home forums at the moment that is accomplishing absolutely FA. Let's get the ball rolling and everybody actually start TALKING about Home and what we can do.
ps. I'll be on Home later, please feel free to have a chat/flame me
It's all good ![]()

what a joke, the programme aitn running at all, so its hardly at 'beta' stage, its a total joke, and fanboys are stopping us bringing sony into account for this disaster.
this console is turning into one big massive joke.
game installs,
no voice messages,
no ingame music,
home that doesn't even work

raby burns hits the nail... the thing is the posts flit from one extreme to another, where people complaining about home get flamed by fanboys and people who say stop complaining get flamed by the complainers.
perhaps if people understand this - home, as a free service... is subject to debate ( you like it thats your opinion and vice versa )
but... when the complaints are to do with the technical side its harder to defend.
i think home is great as a starting point, it has loads of potential. but....
the service from SCEE has been so bad that (like iv said before) it could only of gone worse if the servers literally blew up.
if you can allievate responsablilty from SCEE for this, you could let them mugg you and still not be *****ed off.
ITS ONLY BETA. im sorry what? SCEE couldnt have come up with a better excuse but they cant say that - why?
go on to the asia home.... then the american home... and finally look at the error page on the EU home.
its not about being a beta, its the fact that asia prepared for a server load, america prepared for a server load.... do i need to ask if SCEE did? dismal from SCEE, but hey, just wait, like we always do, and hopefully (thanks to fanboys) always will ... 'they say you dont like it? F off and do something else! great progressive stance here in EU
