Damn! Oh well, I'll just pimp out my manlyness! If men can be women then I can be a bloke and get my ridiculous male avatar poses out.

The NA forums have some great tips for excelling at this game. I have compiled some of most helpful ones here:
Someone was also nice enough to post a pic of the 2nd drop suit for those that are interested.
- If there are terrorists in an isolated area you don't need, leave them there instead of killing them and taking the land. The AI for the enemies isn't that great, they ignore terrorists and will advance on those spaces. The terrorists will multiply and spread to their spaces, locking off cash and their movement. I did this and essentially made a wall in an area of terrorists that the enemy wouldn't move through.
- When you have the enemy surrounded with 2 hexagons left, do not use the level 2 mech to take out the base. Use it to take out the one next to it instead. If you use it to take out the base, the base will move to the one next to it, and you'll need another level 2 mech to take out that base as well. If you use the level 2 mech to take out the hexagon next to the base first, the base will crumble and you can use the level 1 soldier to take out the base.
- Only make tanks when absolutely necessary. It's more important to save money to make a massive amount of soldiers to eat up land. You never need a mech either.
- Sometimes it's more important to defend narrow connections than take new land. You do not want the AI cutting your land in sections. Also, do not underestimate small bases near your weak points. Sometimes they'll have a surprise attack that cripples you.
- Eliminating terrorists in your land takes top priority over everything else. Ignoring them for a few turns can lead to them overwhelming you.
- It's way easier to kill the enemies' troops by cutting off their connection to their respective bases. Don't worry about one-on-one combat most of the time. You can kill several troops in one turn with one well-placed soldier.
- Just keep building lots of soldiers to gobble up territory and overwhelm the AI. Then double them up to take the bases. It doesn't hurt to drop down a few turrets to protect your lines as well. The most powerful attackers are way too expensive and are completely unnecessary to beat the AI

okey donkey (because a picture paints a thousand words)
I spent literally over 9000 hours in paint (ie over a coffee break) for people who are still getting butt kicked
scuse the naff images, it was thrown together from bits and pieces in five minutes and I like ya...just not that much to put loads of effort in ![]()
1st pic, is your turrets protecting your claimed space (zero wages to pay for turrets), and you're pretty much surrounded on all sides being tempted to build bigger units.
Most of them can't attack or get any space from you though so don't waste funds.
The level 3 and 4 troops which the green enemy has so lovingly constructed to give ya a whoopin ARE a problem however, and will chop a massive hole and let their footsoldiers pour in within the next turn and you're scuppered for good. This is where if you try to make advanced troops yourself, you either wont be able to afford them, or the wages from your white area won't be enough to pay them and you'll die (horribly).
But!......(and for this purpose our lvl 1 troops have grown devil horns and attained evil smiles) you can use cheap troops to reduce green's land mass, so his advanced troops don't have money to pay for themselves in the surrounding area.
Now poor greeny is left with over 70 in wages to pay when he's only on 24 squares, and (like most employees who aren't getting paid anymore) the high level troops will vamoosh (now nothing but expensive gravestones)
And that's all it is. Grab some land, secure it with a turret as soon as you can, forget about it and move on.
As soon as you see a level 3 enemy your primary job is to cut it off somehow IMMEDIATELY!! Even if it's on the other side of the map, if it has a path to reach you, it'll get you. So just use expendable cheap troops to leave it sitting on an area with no wages coming in and it's dead.
Guaranteed win on every map doing it this way, don't panic if you've only got a 3rd as much land as everyone else in the beginning, because what you do have you're never gonna lose (providing you don't fail to spot trouble).
Hopefully that makes sense for the quick job I did on it

That's the week 2 outfit. Download the DUST Beta and start it up then re-enter the DUST space in HOME to get your drone companion. ![]()

There are 4 costumes awarded. Once per week. We are now on week two, so you got the second one. The companion can be won by downloading and installing the beta and then returning to the space. To get the code for the beta, now that you won a game, view all four videos next to the recruiter and then check the last kiosk on the far right and you will be awarded the code for the beta download. I know for a fact that they are still available, because I got one just yesterday for a friend, but hurry because they are limited.
P.S. One download of the beta will award a companion to all accounts, so if you have alt account(s), you only need one code.
