As far as im aware of there is no functioning TV in any of the stores to buy for personal spaces apart from the one that you get with the penthouse and you cant use that in other spaces.

Personaly i would pay for one to have to put in my places even if its just showing the trailers for games ect and its your space advertising to fiends who come and join you so i mean we would be doing sony a favour here by spending a little cash maybe the usually 79p or 1.59 but no more than that.

I know in the US home they get a tv with 3 of 4 full length movies on shame we cant get that in the EU probably due to some copy right laws maybe ? Maybe it will be introduced in time

My thoughts are; I'd love a functioning TV to come to EU Home. But as you've already guessed, the laws that we're entwined in by being part of the EU, copyright law and various other legalities stop us from watching stuff we have on our HDD in Home, or anything that's beamed across the globe via you tube etc etc can't be streamed into Home because... well I don't actually know exactly why! We can use our PS3's browser to watch ANYTHING we'd like from teh intearetz yet can't stream it into a PERSONAL space in Home!!?

All I know is, US Home can. So go there for that stuff and abandon EU Home till they get their finger out. LOL

Well ross did say crackle was coming here too, which will bring the loot apartments with the EOD and possibly the public space too.

Also I heard loot are working on a EOD active item.
(but I imagine it will cost more than 1.59)

You make a very good point in ways i see exactly where your coming from.

I have infact just made a USA account for this reason but dont want to abandon my friends on EU becuase of a TV but at the same time will make new friends on the US home. I wouldnt mind just the regular TV screens like the one i mentioned about in the penthouse that shows the trailers, just something to watch with a bit of sound. I was so gutted when i bought a TV from one of the stores to find out it was just an ornament lol.

And Sam thats brilliant i hope they will do that great news.

In NA the TV available are in the three Loot apartments and also in the Loot Theater which is a public space whcih anyone can watch and visit. The movies are from Crackle and there are about 200 in the catalog which you can watch, with new ones coming and going every month.

Loot are working on a portable EOD TV you can put in any private space and we're expecting that to be released sometime during the summer. I have read that Crackle movies are now available in the UK so hopefully Loot will be looking at introducing the service in the UK soon. Their spaces, in my opinion, are second to none. It maybe worth contacting Loot to see if they have anything official to say, what they have is just what I think your looking for so hopefully you will be enjoying the service they offer soon.

Crackle isn't available in the EU just yet but i'm sure Ross mentioned somewhere a while ago we were getting it. So hold on in there and we will have it in good time. We have waited long enough so a little longer won't hurt

A working TV in your personal space sounds like a great idea but I can't help thinking that ATM this is just another thing that will create huge problems . Every time you go to your space I just think we'll get error after error . Maybe I'm being too negative about this but friends on NA Home are still having trouble with them and they've had them for over a year I think , could be wrong on that though ????
