Hi Everyone!

New to the forums here and pretty new to Home...So how about a few people tell me exactly why they love Home and what the best things to do in it are? A very generic question I know but from looking through previous posts people here are pretty passionate and certainly know their stuff so who better to get some more information from!

Welcome to the forums then JD.

For me personally, the best thing about home is the avatar creation. The range of content now is so diverse, the only real limits are your imagination and budget. Its also nice to be able to meet and chat to people from different countries. Thanks to home I now know how to swear in Dutch, Italian, German, Spanish, French and Arabic

Home is different for everyone though, some people use it just to play the mini games, some use it to find people to play games with, I mean REAL ps3 games now not the mini games in home, and others use it to socialise and talk about a wide range of topics.

My advice to you if you are relatively new to home is visit EVERY space on the navigator first, suck up all the free items you can find, also look on the ps store as there are some free home items on there too which are NOT on home. Once you have done all that and seen what there is to see just spark up a conversation with the odd random person and see where it goes from there. Above all else though dont take it serious and also develop a very thick skin and I'm sure you'll enjoy home for what it is. Good luck

Welcome JDizzle! I can only speak for myself when I say this but I think one of the best things to do in Home is just simple socializing really. But for that you need friends, and to get them you have to wander around and find convos you'd like to join into etc, which has its own set of rules which I'm not going into right now coz I'll get accused of writing another uni essay lol.

The best thing is the friends i've made on there . Ive met a couple of them and they didn't turn out to be sad freaks !!!! You know who you are .

JK mate best thing about Home? Probably the main part of it, the social aspect. And arguably it's also the worst part of it, too.

.....  I say that smell is masculinity

@OP erm I would say it's  the community. With events thrown by the community for the community makes Home worth coming back to again and again.

Personally for me it has to be spending time with friends on there, you do eventually meet some really good people. I have to echo what Fury says though, he has given you possibly the best advice xD

P.s... Fury is it just me or are you getting soft in your old age???
