Edit also if theres five or six people in for the prize the element of competition is lost a little.

Hi,

Redbull I have seen your thoughts and sorry noone has got back to you earlyier.

The reason for having this event "UK" only is to test we can handle the numbers. as explained is this one goes successfully there will be another event running very soon. It is not to "cut" any members out of the frame. I want everyone to have the same experience but we have to make sure we can handle the number and the event in general in a fair and calculated way.

Uncharted is listed as the prize but there could be hidden prizes? which I will not go into right now. This is not going to be the first and last event we offer with prizes I am hoping to make these event very regular. So next event all going well we will be able to have EVERYONE involved.

All prizes and club house is purchased by myself for eveyone to enjoy use and have a laugh.... but please be patient with myself and godsgift we are trying to include everyone but let us "test the water" and then to try and start a popular fornightly / monthly event with prizes.

No offence bud. .But wont testing be alot more efficient if you do cater for all people and not just UK. .See how it all works . .And to be honest. .This isnt the first event being held in home. .I understand there's more to it than meets the eye (i think). .But not like you shooting in the dark. .

That is correct its not the first event in Home but it is the first major event myself and Godsgift have done. We have to make sure everything runs correctly.... all score sheets have to be verified by MB and other Sony officials. Redbulll please bare with us we are trying our best and will be catering for everyone.... we know which ever way we run the event it was not going to please everyone - thats life... but we will be helping everyone out and giving everyone the opertunity to win some prizes.

to anyone who lives outside the uk or is nappy with this being a uk only event as my coost has already stated this is the biggest event i myself have done and probably one of the biggest in home at the moment and with there being 3 separate parts to this everything needes to be recorded and organised and the prize is for uk postage just now so we know how much it will cost the next event shall be for everyone and wil probably be a monthly event but the main reason this is uk as its the first major event ive done and it needs a dryrun or beta test if you like but hopefully future events will be open to every1

@Organisers. As you may know i have organised loads of events across many games, i get the "your discriminating" thing all the time. Ignore them , they are trying to give your event bad press. At least it keeps bumping up to the top of the forum though

The whole point of this forum is "English speakin". I think the idea of "UK Only" was so that there are no people who can't speak English on the night. So you may want to change that .

@Acta, they are not trying to give the event bad press. They're merely pointing out the fact this is an EU forum. Besides, the "bad press" you got was justified to a degree.
