Sweet Ted, cheers. For those who are interested (me) could you elaborate on what exactly is involved in the chess boards update?!

unfortunately i am slightly ignorant when it comes to these things, but i'm not quite sure what the core client update means. if say, for example, in the future we had core client update 1.7, could radical changes such as graphics be done, is this the place where core client things happen!? if you were to introduce some new dance moves (or bring back the old ones such as the "Homie" dance as i call it) would this be neccesary for a client update, or is that somewhere else?

what i'm tryin to say is, like when we here it in games such as ProEvo (beautiful) that the game is running on a new "engine", is this what a client core update would be in relation to home?! thanks again!

Lovin the new communication approach on the forums by the way

Plambey im guessing the chess sound 'ping' noises which sound off the entire Home Square/Mall may be being fixed.

Any word on the Red Bull 'Game occupied' bug?

I'm alittle confused about how the EA update is gonna work, but we'll have to see. Do past games add to our credit?

Core client is home's back end system that all the spaces and stuff run from and what lets the dev's add new systems and tools.

Sounds like an amazing update! To bad we have to wait for the picture frames, but the rest hopefully makes up for it big time! Cheers :smileyvery-happy:

thanks ted..i'm from the american home but i'm sure some of this info will be handy to us yanks since or own home managers don't seem to want to give us a weekly update.
the info about the patch and the ea space should apply to the us as the core client is the same and we're using the us ea space at the moment.

Some nice info there Ted hope all goes smoothly next Thursday, As regards the picture frames if the moderation issue has been sorted what is the concerns that those higher up are having is it to do with copyright issues , if it is couldn't someone design 50 or 100 pictures in the vane of those in jess's apertment that we could use until the matter is resolved
