They have T-Shirts in Home. But after just readin their blog, if they are going to advance their company with furniture and decor, does anyone think they may start making virtual furniture/picture frame imagery for Home. Wallpapers etc?
Copy/Pasted from their blog, source below....
MySoti 2.0: The Information Trickle... (#1)
“The goal of interior decoration is to provide a certain “feel” for the room; it encompasses applying wallpaper, painting walls and other surfaces, choosing furniture and fittings, such as light fixtures, and providing other decorations for the area such as paintings and sculptures. It is considered a design field”.
We’re a year old at the end of October. It’s about time we changed the game a little, don’t you think?
Soon…

Maybe... but there is one thing to do with T-Shirts you can guarantee, T-Shirt Hell will never be allowed their own store on Home! ![]()
Who are Mysoti anyway? Home is the first I have ever heard of them.

They sell virtual T-Shirts in Home. The twist is, the designs are user made. So whomever uploads designs on their website, earns a chance to be voted into having it turned into a virtual item on Home.
For example. Someone who has never used Home before, uploads one of their designs onto the mysoti website, and they sell them for you. But you get a small profit for yourself as return. Users who sell items in Home also earn a small percentage of money, however no one knows the figures or estimates of how much you can potentially earn. (unless someone comes forward)

Makes sense loads of money in other things , most likely have a deal with sony to provide content
So why not use it all ![]()
And if they do , it could speed up content releases here in the EU if SCEE hire them.....

They would need someone to work alongside them, to create virtual furniture. Unless by some miracle there is a method for Home users to design something for the Home devs to create. Or have custom designed furniture somehow.
It would be interesting to know if they are making much from Home's virtual items. The preset T-Shirts in Home are pre-done, just a matter of transfering over the designs. Maybe they will have a range of pre-set made furniture to allow users to switch over designs. They sell artwork, picture frames? lol . Sounds stupid, but is this what SCEE have in store for picture frames in EU?
This could all just be nothing.

I'm 99% certain of it.
Maybe, who knows. It's a nice idea anyway, User generated content designs on furinture.

I think it would be achievable for people submit designs from something like Google's sketch up for application as a skin to the relevant furniture code. IREM have produced building block & treasure chest chairs for japan and asian home whilst the US have the Neon light furniture. I think in theory we could have invisible furniture and that what we see is a skin with the corresponding furniture code plus adjusted boundaries so avatars do not walk through the armrests etc.
A scale guide would be useful to download so people could gauge what their creation would look like next to an avatar & alongside other furniture. It would also show how the creator would like what they have submitted to appear in home.
If this where to happen i think it would be a a good move for all;
