Who’s up for an adventure? Believe everything you read as the action-packed 3D adventure follow-up to Journey to the Centre of the Earth goes to the deadliest and deepest part of the ocean as the box office smash hit “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island’’ comes to Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray, DVD and Digital Download on 28 May 2012, from Warner Home Video. Directed by Brad Peyton (Cats and Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore), “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island’’ is loosely based on the Jules Verne’s novel The Mysterious Island and stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson (Fast and Furious 5, The Scorpion King), Michael Caine (The Dark Knight Rises, Inception), Josh Hutcherson (The Hunger Games, Journey to the Center of the Earth), Vanessa Hudgens (High School Musical franchise, Sucker Punch), Luiz Guzman (Carlito’s Way, Boogie Nights) and Kristin Davis (Sex and the City, Couples Retreat).

How to enter:

To be in with a chance of winning, we want you all to get creative on PlayStation Home and take a picture with your camera from the Home inventory that best represents the theme of the film Journey 2.

So to help inspire you with ideas for your photograph, perhaps think about an island being full of terrifying giant lizards, explosive volcanoes or does your imagination stretch even further!? Once you’ve completed your masterpiece, take a screenshot and post it in this thread.

Closing date: 15/06/12

Specific Rules

Entry Rules

1. The Journey 2 Competition (“Competition”) is open to persons aged 16 years or over who are residents of the United Kingdom except employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, its associated companies, their agents, or anyone else professionally connected with the Competition (“Entrants”).

2. The Competition is open for entries on 31st May 2012 at 15.00 (BST) and closes for entries on 15^th June 2012 at 23.59 (BST) (the “Competition Period”).

3. To enter this Competition, Entrants must complete the following steps during the Competition Period:

1. Go to the local language forum at http://community.eu.playstation.com/playstationeu (“the Forum”) using a PC, PlayStation® 3 system, PlayStation® Vita system or PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system;
2. Sign in to the Forum (if they do not already have a Forum account they can register for one by following the on-screen instructions);
3. Click on the Home General Discussion board;
4. Click on the Journey 2 Mysterious Island thread;
5. Take a screen shot of anything within PlayStation Home which you think best reflects the Journey 2 Mysterious Island;
6. Follow the on screen directions to submit your screenshot and to make your post;

4. Registration for PlayStation®Network is subject to acceptance of the PSN Terms of Service and User Agreement and PSN Privacy Policy.

5. Entrants may only submit one entry and will only be eligible to win one prize.

6. Entrants must adhere to the General Rules and in particular, to sections 7 and 8. In addition, entries must not contain any (i) pornography, nudity, or sexually explicit imagery, (ii) abusive, offensive or hateful imagery or language, (iii) harassing or defamatory content, (iv) content that compromises the privacy or safety of yourself or others, (v) content that demeans a particular gender, sexual orientation, disability, religion, ethnicity or nationality, (vi) violent or dangerous behaviour, and/or (vii) spam, advertising or other commercial activities.

7. There will be 5 winners who will be judged on creativity and originality. The winners shall be notified of their selection within 1 week of the Competition. 

8. Winners will be notified by a private message sent to the email address associated with their Forum Account and the winners will also be announced on the Journey 2 Mysterious Island thread.

9. Each of the 5 winners will win the Triple Play Journey 2 Film with a value of £14.99.

10. The Promoter will use reasonable endeavours to send the prize to each winner within 30 days of receiving a winner’s details by registered post but does not accept any responsibility for prizes that are sent later than this.

11. If the prize is found to be ineffective, faulty or damaged upon receipt, the Promoter must be notified in writing within seven days of receipt, otherwise the prize will be deemed to be accepted as received. This does not affect your statutory rights (if any).

12. The Promoter may, at its sole discretion, publish each winner’s name on the Promoter’s website(s).  Each winner’s details will be made available on request to those enclosing a stamped SAE marked “English Community Team” to the following address: Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Limited, 10 Great Marlborough Street, London W1F 7LP United Kingdom within 6 weeks of the closing date specified above.

13. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of the Terms and Conditions or incorrect, illegible, fraudulent or other invalid or improper information has been provided, the Promoter may at their sole discretion refuse to process an entry or fulfill any prize awarded.

LOL I thought EXACTLY the same thing. I heard the game was short but was thinking, they cant have done a sequel ALREADY?

I hadnt even heard of the first Journey film but anything with Michael Caine and DWAYNE 'the rock" Johnson is surely a winner. Caine obviously got involved with this to fund his new holiday home in the bahamas or w/e lol
