Can someone please tell me if there's a way to disable this message? It's the first time I've been on home in almost a month, and the new update seems good, but this utterly pointless message to anyone who has used home for more than 5 minutes, has caused bad image retention on my plasma tv within a relatively short time of chatting with someone. It's bad enough having it constantly pop up when you're near an item, but under a person's name? Have people really gotten that stupid?
Even if it didn't cause staining, it's annoying seeing it constantly pop up, what with almost everything on home being interactive. ![]()
So, if there's a way to disable this, I'd be very appreciative of anyone who could tell me how to do it.
Thanks.

Thx for the reply, Jester. I've also tried turning prompts off. And I've also now noticed you can get things to go to normal if you leave to go to another space or re-enter. But as soon as you come across another item, the message is back under people's names. So maybe it's an unintentional bug?
Whatever, it's extremely annoying ![]()

It's been there for a long time, it's designed to introduce new users to the service and explain to them how things work.
Unfortunately it seems to have bugged and refuses to turn off for any amount of time. It is indeed true that turning off prompts disables it, albeit tempoarily but it's definitely a lot better than having it pop up constantly.
After a while it can go away and stay away by itself but not sure how to make that happen. Personally I have it down to only popping up when I look at posters now; including promts being switched on. It might have something to do with actively targetting what it's prompting but not entirely sure.

Hi Erika, You could try what I did, it's fixed it for me. It seems to fix it for some but not for others, it's worth a try anyway.. Hope it works for you too.

Awwww, sweet. You still believe the Home developers / coders actually THINK when implementing new 'features'.
