i would like to see the ability to create your own stuff and sell it in home stores either owned by you or in the normal shops in home. maybe the creator gets some moeny in their psn account for it or something . also maybe jobs inside home where you earn rewards like a piece of furnature or something.

can you imagine 14 million (as it stands) people all creating diffirent content little big planet style and then uploading them for everyone else to use?

it'd be a serious hectic place.

if they dont do it it will take out a big part of the comunity bit. plus everyone would look the same there would be nothing unique about anything.

not really a good idea, as i dont think most people would even know how to Mesh, texture things ect, and even if many people know there way around an opacity map i doubt they could make anything even worth considering buying.

i was a texture dev on a well known 3d chat and ive seen the kinda things people can come out with.

theres plenty of people who make custom things for 2nd life and the sims whats so different about doing it for home. why wouldnt it be a good idea, you could have loads of unique styles and things instead of everyone being the same. Why would you not want to have your own unique style in Home, why would you want to look like everyone else or have exactly the same furnature, maybe instead of people creating things for sale we can make minor ajustments to the stuff we buy from sony. mix colours and stuff

I find it surprising that, still, so many people don't 'get' what home is.

maybe it'd be a good idea to design shirts and clothing

but i doubt items, too technical and labour intensive.

your only looking at what home is now i was thinking of what it can become in the furture.  if all you can do is buy the same stuff as everyone else and launch a game whos going to bother playing it it will just get repetitive and old.

i agree with you, but not everyone can texture and most of the content will prob come out like crap to be honest. i think we should just leave it to sony.
